The HybridCore V2 is stiffer than both maple and bamboo-only decks — the ±45° carbon outer shells provide torsional lock that bamboo alone cannot achieve. The bamboo core contributes rebound without compromising structural stiffness.

The V2's ±45° carbon outer shells exist specifically to control torsional flex. This is the biggest structural difference between a bamboo-only deck and the HybridCore V2.

Durability Bamboo is more impact-resistant than maple in some directions but can delaminate more easily than maple at the glue joints, particularly under moisture exposure. Bamboo-only decks are not inherently more durable than maple.
